Rescue Me ID: 15-08-11-00499Sofia (female)

Rabbit    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Sweet little Sofia was found in a church parking lot at about 8 weeks of age. The people who found her meant well but had no rabbit experience and were feeding her little bits of cabbage. She was starving and also being chased by the families two pitbulls. I was contacted and took her in. She is now very healthy has been spayed and also has had a very thorough vet check. He is about 6 months old and loves to have her head and cheeks rubbed. we are looking for a home without dogs since she had such a traumatic experience with them. We want her to be relaxed and feel secure. We do not allow our bunnies to live in cages so a puppy exercise pen ... (Read More)with be required at the very least. Rescue Me ID: 15-07-11-00039Ishii (female)

Rabbit    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed

Ishiii has had a hard knock life. I rescued her from a feed store and thought she may be happier with other bunnies. I gave her to a woman who assured me that she would be well taken care of. I repossessed my bunny 3 days ago along with three newborn babies. These are all purebred and supposed blue eyes. I NEED a forever and better than perfect home for this fantastic doe.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-09-00325Pookie

Rabbit    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Pookie is a fairly calm rabbit, generally keeps to himself. I am unsure how he'd actually handle being around other animals. But due to some changing circumstances in my life, I am no longer able to care for him properly! I can't give him the space he needs to run around and properly exercise or otherwise enjoy himself. He is free to a good home!

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-12-00060Jazmyn (female)

Rabbit    Age: Baby

Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed

Adoption fee is to be discussed. Jazmyn is a very sweet girl I adopted from a family who was moving. We have had her for a few months now and sadly we didn't realize that my 3 year old would scare her so much, she really needs a more mature family. Previous owners had older children she was fine with and two other rabbits. I received a paper from them regarding her breed and parents I guess. We need to find her a good home soon.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rabbit in Arizona
Rabbits can make good pets in Arizona if they match your IifestyIe. Rabbits are adorable, soft animals that make popular pets for children. While a rabbit can make a good pet for a child, keep in mind that to be healthy a rabbit requires a quiet, calm living environment. Please only adopt a rabbit if you feel you can create a safe and quiet space for the rabbit in your home. Rabbits can be housetrained to live inside, out of a cage, which dramatically increases their life spans. Rabbits can live as long as a dog or a cat, and unfortunately some people do not approach the decision to get a rabbit with the same seriousness or commitment they might have about getting a dog. Meanwhile, breeders may separate young rabbits from their mothers too early, which damages their immune systems, and pet stores might provide very little information about proper care and nutrition. As a result, countless rabbits die within weeks of being bought. Others are never spayed or neutered, resulting in unanticipated family additions and a major overpopulation problem. Sadly, the majority of these sweet pets are eventually euthanized. Rescue shelters that accept rabbits are often overflowing. If you are planning to bring home a pet rabbit, please adopt!
