Rabbit    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered

Joey was surrendered to a shelter a time ago and was just hanging out there in his cage. He was there too long so I brought his home then to the vet as he was dehydrated and needed a bath. He needs an adult home only with no other animals so he can run around and be litter box trained. He is very cuddly and just adorable. Adopter must have prior experience with house bunnies as he should never be put outside. Comes with crate, food and timothy grass, food and water bowls and water dripper, Paper litter and the best bunny handbook ever written. He needs potty training so he can have the run of the house. If you actually do meet all these ... (Read More)criteria then call me for appointment to visit Joey. Please have your exotic animal vet's information. We have one in Titusville at Young's Veterinary. (Less)

Rabbit

Personality: Average Energy, Submissive

We found a 5-6 pound black rabbit at the park. Definately was a house pet. Not afraid of people. We couldn't just leave it there, but I can't keep it. Husband is allergic, and I already own two dogs. I have put out flyers, but have gotten no response. Afraid someone turned away their Easter gift. %BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD I really need to find her a home, but can't seem to find the right contacts. Please help. She is currently in a cage on my side balcony, but that is not fair to her. We are currently feeding her pellets and vegtables, but I really don't have the right knowledge to keep her. Rescue Me ID: 17-04-27-00145Bunalumps (female)

Rabbit    Age: Adult

Five year old Dutch Breed female in need of loving home! She is incredibly sweet, loves being cuddled and pet, and is litter trained. She is an incredibly wonderful animal, smart and playful, and will be re-homed with large crate, toys, food, hay, and treats. She currently lives with free rein of a large room (open door cage access), sleeps on the foot of my bed (flopped, so cute), and has her own bed by the window where she enjoys lounging. Unfortunately due to a severe allergy which developed over the last year (and despite endless attempts to control it), I am no longer able to keep her. It breaks my heart, but I just want her to ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Rabbit in Florida
Rabbits can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. Rabbits are adorable, soft animals that make popular pets for children. While a rabbit can make a good pet for a child, keep in mind that to be healthy a rabbit requires a quiet, calm living environment. Please only adopt a rabbit if you feel you can create a safe and quiet space for the rabbit in your home. Rabbits can be housetrained to live inside, out of a cage, which dramatically increases their life spans. Rabbits can live as long as a dog or a cat, and unfortunately some people do not approach the decision to get a rabbit with the same seriousness or commitment they might have about getting a dog. Meanwhile, breeders may separate young rabbits from their mothers too early, which damages their immune systems, and pet stores might provide very little information about proper care and nutrition. As a result, countless rabbits die within weeks of being bought. Others are never spayed or neutered, resulting in unanticipated family additions and a major overpopulation problem. Sadly, the majority of these sweet pets are eventually euthanized. Rescue shelters that accept rabbits are often overflowing. If you are planning to bring home a pet rabbit, please adopt!
