I got this baby bunny when it was one month old, and the doctor was unable to to tell it's sex. I believe that it is a boy now.I am taking him to the vet this week, and will know for sure then. He allows you to hold him and will lay on your stomach while being pet. He is almost 5 months old now. Once, he is 6 months old, I will have him neutered. I don't know how he reacts to other bunnies. I'm leaving for college in two months and my mother will bring him to the pound if i can't find him a home. Please help me save him.

She is a very loving bunny. She loves to cuddle and be pet. She isn't good with my other bunny, but that is the only bunny I have ever seen her with; Maybe she could be good with another bunny. However, she is good with people. She doesn't like to be held, but she loves to lay next to you while being pet. I'm leaving for college soon and my mother will bring her to the pound if i can't find a home for her. Please help me save my bunny.

He is a very loving rabbit that needs a good home. I am moving to college and will not be able to care for him as he needs. He is an indoor rabbit that will come with a temporary cage that would do until a suitable one is bought. He's a young Dutch rabbit that is at least under a year old. He is somewhat litter box trained.

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-16-00051Piper (female)
Piper is an 8 mth old Californian. She was given to us by a family member who discovered they have a severe allergy to rabbits. Piper is still a tad bit skittish with human interaction. However; she does like to be pet on her head. Especially if you have a treat! She just needs to warm up to you. I have 2 loud girls, ages 10 & 6, so Piper has become accustom to the everyday sounds of a home with children. We also have a dog and cat in our home, and Piper couldn't care less. She is litter box trained, and does great running around the house during play time!

Clyde and Pete are litter mates who were purchased from a feed shop 1.5 years ago. They have been together from birth, and need to go to a home that can accommodate them both Each rabbit weighs roughly 5 lbs. They have both been neutered and are 'indoor rabbits'. They are not accustomed to life outdoors, and will need an indoor home. If needed, all supplies can be provided along with them.

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-08-00536Benjamin & Donatella (male)
Very friendly black and white lop ear bunny, Benji, and shy black bunny, Donna, need a fur-ever home where they can be together. I am moving to a much smaller place and cannot bring them with me. I adopted them from a friend who discovered she was allergic after about a year. They are indoor only and are litter box trained, and have lived with both cats and dogs. Each bunny comes with their own three-level cage and play yard for them to play together. Both are spayed and neutered and will come with everything needed to care for them, including food, hay, and treats. Serious, and LOCAL interested parties only. $75 for BOTH as they are bonded and play together. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-11-00291Jamie (male)
Jamie is a 6 year old, fully potty-trained lion head rabbit. Jamie is shy when you first meet him, but warms up and loves to run around once you get to know him! Because of his shy nature, he takes a while to warm up to strangers-- but once he does, he's a friend for life! His favorite food are yogurt chips, dried apple peals, and rabbit bites. Jamie has been with the family for 6 years, but has the energy of a 4 year old! He would love to be apart of your loving home.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-23-00484Peaches
Peaches is a sweet girl that loves to play and be held. She gets along well with cats, and is good with kids. She enjoys being out of her cage and exploring the area. She LOVES to drink out of a water bowl, preferring this over her water bottle. She loves to eat pretty much anything. She is great with kids and being held. We haven't had much success mixing her in with other rabbits as she gets territorial. But she likes the cats and plays well with them!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rabbit in Texas
Rabbits can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. Rabbits are adorable, soft animals that make popular pets for children. While a rabbit can make a good pet for a child, keep in mind that to be healthy a rabbit requires a quiet, calm living environment. Please only adopt a rabbit if you feel you can create a safe and quiet space for the rabbit in your home. Rabbits can be housetrained to live inside, out of a cage, which dramatically increases their life spans. Rabbits can live as long as a dog or a cat, and unfortunately some people do not approach the decision to get a rabbit with the same seriousness or commitment they might have about getting a dog. Meanwhile, breeders may separate young rabbits from their mothers too early, which damages their immune systems, and pet stores might provide very little information about proper care and nutrition. As a result, countless rabbits die within weeks of being bought. Others are never spayed or neutered, resulting in unanticipated family additions and a major overpopulation problem. Sadly, the majority of these sweet pets are eventually euthanized. Rescue shelters that accept rabbits are often overflowing. If you are planning to bring home a pet rabbit, please adopt!
