Rescue Me ID: 15-01-23-00484Venus (female)
Venus is a 2yr old spayed Netherland Dwarf. Color Chestnut. I still have her birth certificate. She has always got along with my male neutered rabbit. She has been to the vet several times for checkup and nail trims. I can even give you a cage for her. Not sure how she is with kids or loud noises. She comes from a quiet surrounding. She gets nervous, but allows you to pet her. Just be very gentle. I wish for her a good life.I want a good home for her where she gets the playtime and attention she deserves.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-22-00261Mr. Big (male)
I recently moved to Texas and took possession of Mr. Big. He is 6 years old and is very friendly. I live in an apartment with a dog who sees Big as more of a meal than a friend. Big needs a home that lets him hop around the house/backyard. He is semi-litter trained and likes to be held.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-15-00388Harvey (male)
I have had this little guy for about 4 months. I rescued him from a bad environment. I cannot keep him any longer because I am moving to an apartment that does not allow bunnies. Harvey is very shy to new people but is very sweet when he gets used to you. I have not seen him interact with other bunnies but he loves animals. I have 2 cats and a dog at home and he loves playing with them. He will sleep and cuddle with cats if they will let him. I have several pictures of him cuddling up with the cat. He is partially 'litter' box trained. He has his own litter box in his cage and he often gets into my cat's litter box when he is out, but I do occasionally find pellets on clothes or any kind of fabric that is left out on the floor. Harvey loves having his head scratched and when he gets comfortable with you will let you scratch his nose and chin. He seems to really enjoy that :) (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-03-00282Spotswood (male)
Spotswood was supposed to be a temporary situation for us. We live in an apartment where we're not supposed to have him, so we need to find him a home. No fee to adopt and we will provide all food and supplies that we have for him. Just want to find him a good home. He's a good rabbit and deserves a good home.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-02-00140Audrey Hupburn (female)
Audrey is a sweet girl but can be a little bit of a diva from time to time. She will let you know when she is out of food and water by ring her bells inside her cage. She knows her name. I let her down to run around and she thinks she owns the place. She is not big on being held but does love her face rubbed. I got Audrey from a friend a while back. I love her but I feel like she needs to go to someone who knows how to take care for rabbits and will give her the loving that she needs. My friend that gave me her had told me that she came from a older couple that was moving far away and they didn't feel right making her be stuck in a car for days. The couple had two big dogs that she loved. She get along with my lab really well. My lab will lay on the floor and let her jump on her and walk all over her. They are cute. So, I'm sure she would be happy to go to a home that has dogs. Now, I'm not sure about cats or other rabbits. I don't think she has ever been around a cat before. So, best that she doesn't go to a home that has cats. I had a male rabbit for along time and they stayed in different cage because he wasn't fixed and I'm not sure about her. And I didn't want any baby bunnies. lol! They were never around each other. When it comes to kids, she is ok with them but not a big fan. Its just my mom and I. So, she not around kids that much. Now have neighbors that have a girl and boy and they come and see her and love her. Audrey will come with a cage, a litter box, a tub of litter, a tub of food, her treats, brush, a tub of hay, water bottle, and some other little things. Really want to find a good home for this little girl. I want her to be happy. I just feel like don't give her the time needs she needs. Right now my loving is going to my lab because I just had to put down my pom before Christmas and my lab has been having a hard time with it and so, have I. Audrey just wants someone to love on her and let her run around. (Less)

Hi. I need to find a new home for my rabbit. He is a male rabbit about five years old. He is my classroom pet, and he has been in my classroom for about four years. He is EXTREMELY loving and adorable. He is GREAT with kids (elementary students especially) and adults too. I have to give him away because I have developed severe asthma symptoms when I am around him. This makes me very sad, but I have ended up in the ER twice in a month due to unmanageable asthma. Is there a way you could take him and love him please? I have almost twenty pounds of food for him, and his cage and bedding, litter, etc. You can have it all. This is really hard for me, but I don't see another option. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-23-00484Peaches
Peaches is a sweet girl that loves to play and be held. She gets along well with cats, and is good with kids. She enjoys being out of her cage and exploring the area. She LOVES to drink out of a water bowl, preferring this over her water bottle. She loves to eat pretty much anything. She is great with kids and being held. We haven't had much success mixing her in with other rabbits as she gets territorial. But she likes the cats and plays well with them!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rabbit in Texas
Rabbits can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. Rabbits are adorable, soft animals that make popular pets for children. While a rabbit can make a good pet for a child, keep in mind that to be healthy a rabbit requires a quiet, calm living environment. Please only adopt a rabbit if you feel you can create a safe and quiet space for the rabbit in your home. Rabbits can be housetrained to live inside, out of a cage, which dramatically increases their life spans. Rabbits can live as long as a dog or a cat, and unfortunately some people do not approach the decision to get a rabbit with the same seriousness or commitment they might have about getting a dog. Meanwhile, breeders may separate young rabbits from their mothers too early, which damages their immune systems, and pet stores might provide very little information about proper care and nutrition. As a result, countless rabbits die within weeks of being bought. Others are never spayed or neutered, resulting in unanticipated family additions and a major overpopulation problem. Sadly, the majority of these sweet pets are eventually euthanized. Rescue shelters that accept rabbits are often overflowing. If you are planning to bring home a pet rabbit, please adopt!
