    We have enjoyed 7 1/2 years with Jasper and he recently turned 8. It is with much regret that we seek a good home for him as we have determined that signicant allergies in our daughter are derived from Timothy hay and rabbit. We had substituted the diet to a less allergy prone hay, though the allergy to rabbit persists. We have a wooden hutch that can be provided as his home.

    Timmy and Bella are both around a year and a half old. They are perfectly bonded and get along very well. Timmy is a neutered male and Bella is a spayed female. Timmy has black on his ears and Bella has black eyeliner. They are well behaved and love treats. They love to explore and run around. Timmy is more submissive than Bella and enjoys more human attention. Bella is very dependent on Timmy. They are very affectionate with each other and it is preferred that they remain together. We raised them for over a year and absolutely love them, but cannot keep them any longer due to our severe allergies.

    We have 2 male and 3 female lion head rabbits for adoption. They are currently in two different cages, males in one and females in the other. One male and one female are just over a year old. The remaining male and 2 females are their children, and were born in October. They come with 2, two-story hutches, the ground floor being open to the grass and the top floor enclosed with a pull-out tray and opening roof for access. All are sweet and loving, but keep digging out and need a more secure home where they will get the attention they need.

    Stormageddon: Dark Lord of All, or Stormy, is a very sweet bunny. He loves to give me kisses and will come and sit on the floor with me, or jump up on the couch with me. He's very mild-tempered, and has never shown any aggression towards anyone. He's compatible with well trained dogs, and I'm sure most other house pets, too.     Bandit is a very sweet black and white rabbit. We want to keep him, but due to our child, not able to keep him too much longer. He was sold to us as a 'dwarf rabbit', however, he has grown to a lovable, over-sized dwarf =) He is very, very sweet. Occassionally, we let him run around the backyard, supervised. When we are ready to put him back in his cage, we can walk right up to him and pick him up with no problems or resistance.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rabbit in Texas
    Rabbits can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. Rabbits are adorable, soft animals that make popular pets for children. While a rabbit can make a good pet for a child, keep in mind that to be healthy a rabbit requires a quiet, calm living environment. Please only adopt a rabbit if you feel you can create a safe and quiet space for the rabbit in your home. Rabbits can be housetrained to live inside, out of a cage, which dramatically increases their life spans. Rabbits can live as long as a dog or a cat, and unfortunately some people do not approach the decision to get a rabbit with the same seriousness or commitment they might have about getting a dog. Meanwhile, breeders may separate young rabbits from their mothers too early, which damages their immune systems, and pet stores might provide very little information about proper care and nutrition. As a result, countless rabbits die within weeks of being bought. Others are never spayed or neutered, resulting in unanticipated family additions and a major overpopulation problem. Sadly, the majority of these sweet pets are eventually euthanized. Rescue shelters that accept rabbits are often overflowing. If you are planning to bring home a pet rabbit, please adopt!
