     I posted my bunny, Kiko, on your website for adoption. I received a text from a nice gentleman last night. Today, we met with his adorable female bunny, Snowball. Kiko and Snowball got along just fine. Snowball was just hanging out in the back of this gentleman's car on a towel. No cage, nothing. Just free. This is what I wanted for Kiko. A nice companion and freedom. A nice, loving home and a nice little bunny for Kiko to hang with. A perfect environment for his happiness. Rescue Me made it happen for our sweet guy. I know that he will be safe and happy with a sweet friend. Thank you for helping me find the perfect home for Kiko. He deserves the best and thank you for allowing us to do so.

     Snowflake was a rabbit in need. She's bigger than she looked in her picture, but her sweetness belies her size. Bunnies can be BIG and sweet as well as small and sweet. She seems happy and content in her new home in a cage next to her soon to be forever partner, Carmel, who I also adopted off of Rescue Me. They are really getting attached and will soon be placed together. People interested in helping animals should feel confident in donating to Rescue Me. This is a wonderful animal rescue organization.

     The site was easy to use, and my adorable bunnies were adopted by a great family. It was so easy to use the Rescue Me site. My bunnies are now in a happy home, with a new mom (15 year old girl) and her siblings. They are getting the attention they deserve, and it's all thanks to Rescue Me! Thank you!

     With the help of Rescue Me and assistance from a local rescue group (Kind Heart Rescue), I was able to place all three baby rabbits. I found myself the caretaker of Sweetie, the mother rabbit, was found in the neighborhood where I work, emaciated and overheated. After checking around for any lost rabbit signs, and calling the nearby shelters with no luck finding whoever had her, I took her home. A visit to the vet showed that she'd been through some trauma (nothing currently broken, but her bloodwork showed she'd been through a lot before we found her). She had no parasites or infections. The vet ordered me to help her slowly regain some weight, and said there was 'almost no chance' of her being pregnant, considering how I'd found her, but did add that I'd know in a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks later, there was still no sign of her being pregnant. She had a follow up visit to the vet who was pleased with her weight gain. Her coat gained some thickness and glossiness, and Sweetie lived up to her name - she's the most affectionate rabbit I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. But still there was no sign of the babies until exactly one month after finding her. I'd originally had friends lined up to take the three babies born (so long as they survived to adulthood - we had no idea if they were healthy), and Sweetie took good care of her three children. But as it got closer to adoption day, the homes fell through, one by one. Panicked, I reached out to many rescues, most who never responded to my emails. One said they could take my rabbits in later, if necessary, but not for months. Rescue Me found homes for two of the three bunnies, a pleasant surprise! Sugar, Honeybun, and Creampuf are in safe, loving homes in great part thanks to this site. Sweetie is now fixed and still incredibly affectionate, good for snuggles on the couch watching TV or playing with toys and willow 'furniture'. Thank you for this site. I have no idea what I would do without it!

     Rescue Me was awesome in assisting me with downloading pictures and Rebecca was so nice answering all my calls. Although I did get numerous phone calls about my therapy rabbits, either I was too far away or people didn't want to separate the sister bunnies. In passing, I mentioned to a friend that I had posted the rabbits on Rescue Me! She passed that information on to another mutual friend who is a certified animal therapist. I am so happy this past week after arranging a forklift and truck to take away the six by seven foot hutch and of the rabbits my bunnies have been rehomed. A group home was opening an animal therapy room and I was able to help them out by donating the hutch and Fluffy, Puffy, and Snuffy too. Not only are they making many people happy but they are back doing what they do best helping special needs adults and children feel great. The group home was looking for other donations too, so I decided to give them a cage of zebra finches which have become a real hit in the group home. So thanks for all your help, emails, support and exposure. I had a great experience with Rescue Me and would recommend you all to anyone out there searching for the perfect pet or anyone needing to rehome their pet.. Thank you Rescue Me and good luck in all that you do.

     It took a long time to find a loving home for my two rabbits, but it was well worth the wait. I found the perfect family who met every expectation I had, plus more. I drove my rabbits, four hours away to their new home and was able to meet the family. The family was warm and welcoming, and I could tell that they were truly excited to welcome my bunnies into their family. I am a verbal and art therapist who works with children who have a variety of mental illnesses. I had to re-home my bunnies due to my long work hours. The coolest part about this family is that they wanted to adopt my bunnies to be therapy rabbits for their daughter who has Asperger's syndrome. My rabbits now have new bunny friends, fresh home grown hay and greens, and a huge backyard to hop around in. I couldn't have found a better family! Thank you Rescue Me! It is invaluable to know that my bunnies went to a loving home.

     It was sad for me to let him go, but there is a happy ever after the person that adopted Roger not only works for a rescue but she said her spouse just lost his rabbit. She wanted to surprise him so she gave him a card that read go to the vehicle and open the door. Of course, she had the air running. He got emotional and started to cry, she told me over the phone. I cried too because I knew he was going to be loved! He took Roger out of his cage and held him close. She said he is going to spoil Roger. They will keep us updated with pictures.      I posted my bunny needing a new good home and received an email about three days later by a lady that wanted a rabbit for her husband. Her response was 'we want Bunbun'. We shared photos and information about each other. We have an open invitation to visit anytime. We are going to keep in touch and pictures will be sent to me. I gave everything that Bunbun had here so he will have things he's familiar with. We are moving and can't take Bunbun so I searched the internet and found your website. I'm sad about having to give him away, it happened so fast... They picked him up this evening. I am worried of course, but feel he's going to be with good people.      I adopted Vienna from a nice family willing to answer the unending questions I had. I set out to find a female rabbit for my male rabbit. Honey, my male, needed a friend. His bond broke with his birth brother Sprinkles. After several weeks of searching rescues, Vienna was love at first sight. She is beautiful, playful and a great girl. After Vienna is spayed and recovers. I will start the bonding process with Honey. I hope that his brother Sprinkles will finally stop wanting to fight and join Honey and Vienna. My husband drove an hour and a half to pick up Vienna. She is well worth the drive. She's only been with us for about 16 hours and is already following my daughter everywhere my daughter goes. It's adorable. All of you considering adopting a rabbit, please do your research. Rabbits are different than cats and dogs. They need hay, fresh greens, vet care, exercise and love. They want to be indoors with a loving family. They don't want to be forgotten in a back yard. Rabbits make great pets if brought up in a caring home. All of you put your rabbits up for adoption, please try to do a home check before adopting and charge a fee. Free rabbits can be put into the wrong hands and awful situations. Rabbits are docile and can be used for awful reasons. Ask lots of questions and expect answers. Thank you Rescue Me for a wonderful experience finding my new girl.

     Although it took some time for Margaret to get adopted, the wait was worthwhile. She now will be with two other female bunnies in a large hutch located in a heated and air conditioned outbuilding. Margaret will also be able to hop along freely with her new siblings safely in that building occasionally. I trust that she will be taken care of very well by the woman who adopted her as she seems to be compassionate, responsible and caring. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     The small, male rabbit we found was given to a rescue center. The owner is a friend of my granddaughters who often go there to ride horses. 'Miss Tabitha' takes in all sorts of animals and when one of the girls asked her if she took rabbits, she said she did and that one of her clients would be interested as she already had one and was looking for a companion for it. So little 'Oreo' (named by one of the girls because he was black and white), found a good home and female companionship as well! Since Oreo went to a rescue center, I made the donation of $25.00 rather than ask them to contribute. Thank you for all your help and advice, Rescue Me. It was much needed and appreciated.      I am so thankful for the Rescue Me website! My kids saved two rabbits from becoming snake chow a couple of years ago and at the time, they were told the bunnies were both female. We discovered this is not the case, and so it is wonderful that the babies are getting loving forever homes. We will be neutering the male so there will be no more babies after this, but the help I have found and the wonderful people who chose to adopt through this site are amazing. I have a baby wild bunny that I have been raising since he was a baby and his sister died, so I thought he would get lonely. They are doing well together now.

We originally took her in on a temporary basis and she was living on borrowed time.      I stumbled on your website a day after I found a young man walking down the street with a bunny. The young man was in the process of releasing the bunny in the woods. The bunny's name was Peachy. After several calls to local no-kill shelters, without success. I came across Rescue Me and made a post for Peachy to find a forever home. The same day I posted, I had a wonderful and smart lady named Judy call and reach out to me to offer me guidance and suggestions on Peachy. Judy was amazing. I was a new bunny owner and I was googling everything! Judy was so experienced and offered wonderful ideas and ways to keep Peachy safe. The next day I received a phone call from Jessica, Jessica lived very close to my home. Jessica and her Mom were long term bunny owners and wanted to adopt Peachy! Jessica and her Mom came to my home to meet Peachy. I knew right away it was a good fit! They were so kind to Peachy and loved her right away! Peachy had found her forever home! The next day Jessica sent me new pictures of Peachy and a detailed message on how Peachy was accumulating to her new home. Rescue Me has been a wonderful and loving experience for me, I can't thank you enough for your organization and your mission! Thank You! Thank You! -A new Bunny Lover

     Our bunny was listed on the Rescue Me site. It was getting close to our move time and we were losing hope. Where we were moving to had an absolute no pet policy and it broke our hearts, but we knew if we could find him a good home, that would be second best to keeping him ourselves. I received a phone call from a young man who came the next day to meet Bunny (we never did name him because when we rescued him I swore he was only staying the night--Hah!!!) with his parents and it was love at first sight. He decided that he wanted him on the spot. I told them that I would clean the cage and get all his things together and that they could come and pick him up the next day. They arrived at noon on the nose and mom told me that he had not stopped talking about the rabbit and that he had gone online and done 'a ton of research' and then went to the pet store to buy all kinds of things for him. Clearly, Bunny had found his true forever home, and even though we will miss him, we are thrilled with the outcome. There is no doubt that Bunny is in very good hands.

     I have wanted a rabbit for a long time. After our dog passed away, I started looking on Rescue Me when rabbits were posted. Eventually one became available close to where I live.      I posted my beloved rabbit, Tater, and within minutes had offers from reputable rescue groups, as well as individuals, to give her a new home. I was able to find a wonderful animal rescue called WARM (Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission) to give her a loving home among other female rabbits until they can find a forever home or allow her to just live out her life there with them. They were extremely caring toward their animals. The animals looked happy and well cared for, and I know Tater will be much happier there where she can be around other animals and people and receive the care and attention she needs. Thank you to Rescue Me for having this site, which is a wonderful tool to help find a new home for a pet you may not be able to keep, as opposed to turning an animal over to a kill shelter.

     We didn't want to give up our sweet bunny, but it became increasingly obvious that none of us had the time to give her the attention that she deserved. My 18-year old daughter was busy with school and a new job, we had a new grand baby in the house, along with our two dogs, one cat and one bird, we were at capacity! Heather was looking for a pet for her 10-year old daughter. Her sister, who had recently adopted two house bunnies, convinced her that this would be the perfect pet. When she Googled with 'house rabbit adoption', Rescue Me! was the first site to come up, and Thumpy was the first bunny to come up! It was a match made in heaven, and we are very grateful.
